You can export the data of folders or documents on the Clipboard in one operation. This is similar to, but faster than, exporting the data of the items one at a time as described in Exporting properties and files. This can be useful to edit the data in other applications and then import it back into Project Portal.
Note This functionality is available by default for Privileged users and is configurable for other users.
Note Project Portalexports the data from all of the items to a single compressed archive (.zip) file. The .zip file includes .csv and .xls files that contains the property values of all the exported documents and folders. The .csv file is exported with the ISO 8859, Latin character set to ensure compatibility with Microsoft Excel.
To export the data of items on the Clipboard:
In the ribbon, in the Import/Export group, click Formatted Export. A page showing the export options appears.
Option | Description |
---|---|

Click Export Excel. The .zip file downloads to your computer.
Note Your web browser will attempt to download the archive file to your computer. If your browser's security settings block the download, you might need to adjust the settings and retry this procedure.
